Do you ever think about what you spray under your armpits? Or roll? Of course, we want to prevent unpleasant odors or cover them up as quickly as possible. Of course, that works with a spray can full of chemicals, but is your body happy with that? Fortunately, there are plenty of natural alternatives, including the deodorant powder from The Ohm Collection . Admittedly, it takes some getting used to smearing a white powder under your armpits, but you won't hear me complain anymore now that I've noticed that it works, smells nice and is good for my body!

100% NATURAL

We are more careful about what we put in our mouths these days, but we often forget about all the other ways in which harmful substances can enter our bodies. One of those ways is through our armpits, where we spray countless parabens, aluminum, and artificial fragrances and dyes every day. You want them to work, so they have to enter your body. However, if they end up in the bloodstream, you are less happy about it. Parabens are even suspected of being able to affect our hormone balance and contribute to the development of tumors. We don't know for sure (yet), but why take a risk if you don't have to?

THE OHM COLLECTION DEODORANT POWDER NO SWEAT

The deodorant powder from The Ohm Collection is 100% natural but still works effectively against sweat and unpleasant odors. Those chemicals are really not necessary to get through the day fresh! This deodorant is suitable for all skin types and is free of mineral oils, silicones, parabens, aluminum, EDTA, BHT-BHA and artificial colorants. In addition, the powder contains no animal ingredients and is of course not tested on animals. That's how we like it!

INGREDIENTS

So what is in it? Sodium bicarbonate, also known as baking soda. Yes, that's what I put in my banana bread . Proof that it's a safe ingredient! In addition, the deodorant powder contains citrus reticulata peel oil: a complicated name for mandarin oil. The same goes for cedrus atlantica bark oil: oil from cedarwood. The last ingredient is melaleuca alternifolia leaf oil, or tea tree oil. All three types of oil are certified organic ingredients.

ECONOMIC

All well and good, but is such a powder affordable? Yes! You pay a little more for this deodorant than for a regular spray can, but you really only need very little for it. Use a pinch of powder per armpit and you can use it for another 24 hours. That way you can use the powder for 3 to 5 months, which means you have almost earned back your investment. And you don't even have to calculate like that: you are not just investing in something, but in your body. You only have one, so you better be careful with that one body!

USAGE

Using a deodorant powder takes some getting used to. Instead of opening a can and pushing it under your armpit, you apply a small amount of deodorant powder to your fingertips. You then dab it under your armpits, which immediately feel dry and fresh. This works best when your skin is slightly damp, such as after showering. As with other deodorants, use immediately after shaving is not recommended.

FRESH SUCCESS

As far as I'm concerned, this deodorant is a keeper. It's just a matter of switching the switch that you don't feel a spray under your armpit anymore, but honestly: this feels much better. The skin under my armpits even looks better! I now love how dry my armpits feel because of the powder: a spray or roller always makes your armpits moist, but this powder makes them completely dry. In addition, you smell very subtly fresh. You smell the scent of sweet mandarin especially when you open the jar and apply the powder to your fingers, but it is so subtle that you don't really smell it anymore once it is under your armpits. I think that's fine, because at least that scent can't clash with other scents such as that of your body lotion or perfume!

Of course, there are many more scents than just mandarin available. In the webshop of Bewust Puur you will find, besides Mandarin, also the scents Nojito, Coconuts, Blossom, Sandalwood, Neroli, Gardenia, Lavender, Frankincense, Patchouli and Cedar. Mmm, hard to choose which scent will be my next! Luckily it will take another 3 to 5 months before I have to make that decision
