The result is soft and radiant skin. The exfoliant contains fruit acids (AHAs) from pineapple, orange and lemon, plus 10% glycolic acid. Also added is papaya enzyme, as it helps cleanse pores and prevent inflammation. Smells deliciously like exotic fruit.

Every 28 days, your skin renews itself, just like the seasons change, but invisible to the naked eye. New skin cells are created and we get rid of the old ones. As you get older, those old cells just stick around longer and longer. And those dead skin cells on your skin make your skin dull and less smooth. And it increases the chances of clogged pores.
Such a layer of dead skin cells, but also other pollutants such as exhaust fumes you are exposed to all day, can make it harder for the nutrients in your skincare products to penetrate your skin. A waste of those beautiful products you put on your skin, right?
Of course you cleanse your skin every day, but a fruit acid-based exfoliant cleanses your skin a little deeper as fruit acids gently dissolve dead skin cells and other impurities. And that makes your skin velvety soft and radiant again. Your skin can now fully absorb all your skincare products again.
The Loveli Exfoliant contains as much as 10% glycolic acid. Perfect for a boost to your skin. And because you see immediate results, you might be tempted to use it every day. But we don't recommend that, because it's a bit too much of a good thing anyway. Use the exfoliant once or twice a week for best results. Preferably in the evening before you go to sleep. You may wash it off or leave it on until the next morning. If you leave it on, we recommend you just apply your face cream and/or face oil over it, as your skin is now a sponge for all those lovely nutrients.
Good to know
- Go for the Loveli Exfoliant if you have sensitive skin, are looking for skin improvement or want extra hydration. Fruit acids dissolve dead skin cells and help keep your skin smooth and hydrated. The effect of an exfoliant is often a bit more subtle than an exfoliator and you sometimes only see it after a few uses. Opt for the Loveli Scrub with ground almond seeds if your skin is a bit oilier or rougher and you want an immediate effect. Or you just like the texture of a scrub better.
- If you suffer from pigment spots, it is good to know that they can also be lightened by using the exfoliant. This is, in fact, a super fine feature of glycolic acid. Pigmentation spots will not disappear because of it, but a shade lighter is also nice, right? Since glycolic acid has a build-up effect, it may take a few applications before you can see results.
- The packaging is made of polypropylene (plastic). It can be recycled with the rest of your plastic waste.
- The Loveli Exfoliant is completely vegan.
Use
- Use the Loveli Exfoliant once or twice a week on cleansed skin. Preferably in the evening. Apply about one pump to your face with your fingers. When doing so, avoid the eyes and mouth. Leave it on for a few minutes (you may feel a slight tingling sensation) and then apply your cream and/or face oil as usual. There is no need to rinse off the exfoliant, but you can if you prefer.
- If you do use the exfoliant during the day, do not forget to use sun protection of at least SPF30. Your skin may be more sensitive to sunlight after exfoliating. Even if you use the exfoliant in the evening, it's smart to apply extra sun protection to your skin the next day.
- We do not recommend using the exfoliant on damaged or irritated skin. The product is too strong for that.
- Do not use the exfoliant for too long or too often. If your skin tingles, do not use the exfoliant more often than once a week or switch back to once every fortnight. Don't use the exfoliant more than twice a week anyway. And switch to a rest from time to time. For example, when your jar of exfoliant runs out.
