Healthy Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

 

EASY AND SURPRISINGLY TASTY!

No column this time, but a deliciously healthy recipe where simplicity reigns and success is guaranteed.

It consists of two basic ingredients and contains NO added sugar!
Ideal as a healthy snack and also great as a 'snack' to school for breaks. Toddlers, preschoolers, teenagers and adults will love it!

We are talking about oatmeal banana cookies . A delicious cookie that is tasty in itself, but can be varied endlessly.
Due to the sugars already present in banana, the cookies are deliciously sweet. The riper the banana, the sweeter the cookies will be.

And what's also great... You don't have to be a pastry chef to make these cookies.

What do you need for the basic recipe?

  • 300 grams ripe banana
  • 100 grams of oatmeal

 

How to prepare?

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Peel the bananas, cut them into pieces and mash them with a fork.
  • Add the oats and mix well. (if the dough is too wet, add some extra oats. And vice versa in case of too dry dough)
  • Place a sheet of baking paper on a baking tray.
  • Try to get cookies of equal size. Use a spoon as a 'measuring scoop'.
  • Take a large spoonful of the 'batter' and place it on the baking paper. Flatten the batter a bit. Fill the baking sheet, keeping some space between the cookies.
  • Bake the cookies in the middle of the oven for about 20 minutes.
  • Let them cool down before eating them. ;)

By adding your own favorite ingredients you make the cookies extra tasty. Let your imagination run wild.

Some suggestions to add, possibly in combination, to the basic recipe:
- figs
- unroasted and unsalted nuts
- dark chocolate
- dried pieces of fruit
- raisins
- seeds and/or kernels
