We are proud to present this reef-safe sunscreen in fully recyclable, renewable sugarcane packaging. Grown on sustainable land, this plant-based packaging is completely carbon-neutral.

Green People sun lotions are made with over 80% natural ingredients, including a blend of safe, non-toxic filters that ensure all Green People sun lotions meet European UVA protection standards. Green People ensures that, unlike some chemical UV filters, our effective UV filters do not irritate the skin or harm the environment. However, in some cases, the filters we use may stain some fabrics yellow. This staining is irreversible and therefore we advise users to be careful when wearing white/light fabrics over their sunscreen and always allow the sunscreen to soak into the skin before applying clothes.

Use

Pour a generous amount of sunscreen into the palm of your hand and apply to the body 20 minutes before sun exposure and then every 2 hours or after swimming.

To soothe skin after sun exposure, try the Hydrating After Sun Lotion, which has a wonderful cooling effect and moisturises to keep it soft and supple.

Notice:

Due to the high content of plant-based ingredients and the complex nature of the UV filters used in our sun lotions, they are prone to colour change during storage. This is perfectly normal and although they have a creamy white colour when first produced, they may take on a darker, browner hue over time. The rate of this colour change can be affected by storage conditions, with warmer temperatures accelerating the process. This colour change does not affect the UV protection provided by the sun lotions.

Sealing 90% of products are not sealed by brands. For many brands, sustainability is a priority and for that reason they do not want to add unnecessary waste to their packaging. They therefore choose not to seal their products.

Color The actual color of the product may differ from the photo of the article. Lighting of the photo & color differences on screens can display a different color.

Shelf life Products will have a shelf life of at least 3 months, unless otherwise stated with the product.
