Use

Silicone and plastic have the property that they can absorb odours, flavours and even stains from food. To prevent unpleasant odours and prolong the life of your lunch boxes and trays, follow these simple steps:

Daily cleaning

1. After use: Do not leave food in the lunch box. Clean the trays immediately after use.
2. Cleaning: Use warm water and washing-up liquid to thoroughly clean the tray. If necessary, add a dash of vinegar or lemon juice during cleaning to neutralise odours.
3. Drying: Let the trays dry thoroughly without putting the lid on. This prevents moisture from being trapped, which can cause unpleasant odours.

Remove odours

If odours do develop, follow one of these methods:

1. Baking soda paste:

• Make a thick paste of baking soda and water.
• Coat the container completely with this paste.
• Leave it overnight.
• Rinse it well and dry it completely.

1. Vinegar mixture:

• Fill the container with a mixture of vinegar and water in a 1:1 ratio.
• Let the mixture soak overnight.
• Rinse the container well and let it dry.
