Vegan Lip Balm - SPF15

Sunscreen for your lips! A delicious, vegan lip balm that gives your lips a subtle beige-pink tint and also protects against the sun! The skin of your lips is super thin and vulnerable, but we often forget to protect it from the sun. This causes dry and sometimes painful lips, because your lips can also be burned by the sun. The natural waxes and butters in regular lip balms do provide some protection, but not enough for the summer sun.  

That is why we have added raspberry oil and zinc oxide to this lip balm, which also protects your lips against UVA radiation (which causes skin aging) and UVB radiation (which can cause sunburn).   

The lip balm contains six vegetable oils, including carnation seed oil. This special oil strengthens the protective layer of your skin and is also packed with antioxidants. And you really need those antioxidants to ward off the free radicals caused by sunlight. The extracts of micro algae also protect your lips against UV light.  

There are so many wonderful ingredients in this lip balm that we don't have enough space to put them all in the spotlight. But together, this cocktail of goodness provides wonderfully cared for and protected lips. To kiss! 

The Lipbalm SPF 15 has a subtle pink tint. That's because we mixed the white zinc oxide with a pinch of red iron oxide. Also completely natural, safe and titanium dioxide free. 

Please note:the lip balm may break in hot weather because it contains coconut oil. Coconut oil becomes soft when it is warm and hard when it is colder. It can reach temperatures of up to 50 degrees in the carrier's vans, which can cause your lip balm to arrive broken. Unfortunately we cannot send a new one. You can repair it quite easily by pressing the halves together firmly and putting them in the freezer overnight.
