Loveli deo is a natural deodorant stick without aluminum that really works. With zinc oxide against hormone sweat, emotional sweat and stress sweat.

This loveli deodorant without aluminum is based on coconut oil and sodium bicarbonate and even more fine ingredients that are good for your skin and protect you against sweat odor. Due to the addition of zinc oxide, this deodorant also works perfectly against hormone sweat, emotional sweat and stress sweat.

Zinc oxide for extra protection against stress sweat

Stress or emotional sweat is different from sweat caused by heat. It contains more fatty acids than regular sweat and the bacteria on your skin love these fatty acids. They are the cause of your sweat odor. Zinc oxide converts these fatty acids into odorless zinc salts before the bacteria can do their work .  What makes zinc a twice as strong weapon in the fight against sweat odor is that it is also antibacterial. So there are certainly fewer bacteria on your skin that can cause the sweat odor.

Baking soda neutralizes odors

Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) is the ingredient that works so well against odors. But coconut oil also has a neutralizing effect and arrowroot and shea butter ensure soft skin. With vitamin E as an antioxidant. 

Sodium bicarbonate can be irritating to sensitive skin. That's why it is combined with soothing arrowroot. It can still happen that your skin reacts. There is also a sensitive version with less sodium bicarbonate and skin-caring sandalwood oil. 

The packaging is made of BPA-free polypropylene (plastic). It can be recycled with the rest of your plastic waste. 

Good to know about the Loveli Deo's

• The mini is almost 5 cm high and contains 6 grams of deodorant. A mini will last you at least 2 weeks.
• There may be a hole in the middle of the mini. This is due to the way the mini is filled. But with this hole it works just as well.
• This natural deodorant does not seal your skin. So you still sweat (otherwise your body cannot get rid of its waste), but you don't smell it. 
• If you have sensitive skin, your skin may react with a red rash. Immediately adding some coconut oil and switching to the sensitive version could be the solution. But usually you get better skin because of all the fine ingredients. 
• The shea butter in the deodorant can stain your clothes. You can of course wash it out, but it is better to let the deodorant dry before putting on your clothes. 
• Use very little of the deodorant. The deodorant has a high concentration of sodium bicarbonate, so you need very little to keep smelling fresh all day long. If you use too much, you will quickly use up your deodorant, but you also run the risk of irritating your skin. Two stripes per armpit is enough to be protected.
• The zinc oxide in the deodorant does give a bit of a white cast. This is quickly absorbed, but if you have darker skin, you will continue to see the white cast for a while. It is best to let the deodorant soak in before getting dressed. Then you won't get stains on your clothes.
• The zinc oxide repairs your skin in case of irritations and at the same time protects sensitive skin
• If your body has really become addicted to the ingredients in your regular deodorant, it may at first seem as if you are actually sweating more. Your body is detoxing. Hang in there, it's worth it!
• Wait to use the deodorant after you have shaved or otherwise depilated your armpits. If you shave your armpits in the evening, you can use the deodorant again in the morning.
• The deodorant is not soluble in water, so you need a mild detergent to wash your armpits.
• The stick is made of cardboard. When it's finished, you just throw it in the trash.

Use

If you used a deodorant with aluminum before this, you may (temporarily) sweat more or smell like sweat. For most people, this passes after a few days and you no longer smell anything. Wash (or scrub) your armpits extra during this period with a mild detergent. And hang in there! Fortunately, the detox only lasts a short time.

• Press the bottom of the mini up a little before using it.
• Apply or stamp a thin layer of deodorant under your armpits once a day. Make sure you always use a small amount of the deodorant.
• Let the deodorant soak in for a few minutes before putting on your clothes. Use less or spread it if you see or feel it.

What should you pay attention to?

• Do not use the deodorant if you suffer from irritated or damaged skin.
• Due to the high concentration of baking soda, you only need a small amount of the Loveli deodorant. If you use too much, you will quickly use up the deodorant and run the risk of irritation.
• The zinc oxide in the deodorant can leave a light white cast under your armpits. This haze disappears quickly. Do you still see a white haze under your armpits after a few minutes? Then you can use a little less of the deodorant or you can spread it more.
• Stop using the deodorant if you suffer from a rash, irritation or if your skin does not respond well to the deodorant in any other way.
• When your skin has recovered after irritation, you can try the deodorant again. Please note that you only use a thin layer once a day. If applying less does not help, you can try the Sensitive Skin mini. This deodorant is slightly less effective against sweat odors, but is gentler on sensitive skin.
