Note: if you have very sensitive skin, you can also choose the Face scrub Sensitive. It contains the same jojoba beads but no ground almond and olive pits and is therefore even gentler on your skin.
Scrub your skin clean again
Your skin is constantly renewing itself! That's great, but the dead skin cells on your skin make it harder for skin-care products to penetrate. Just like other pollutants you are exposed to all day long.
Of course you cleanse your skin every day, but a weekly exfoliation cleanses your skin a little deeper and makes it velvety soft again. Your skin can now fully absorb all your skincare products again.
Jojoba beads instead of microplastics
Finding the right grain for a face scrub is a big challenge. This is because the skin on your face is very delicate and can easily be damaged. Therefore, in many scrubs you will find small plastic beads, because they can just be made to the right size and softness. Unfortunately, those microplastics disappear down your drain into the environment. And that's something we definitely don't want at Loveli!
Jojoba beads are made from the wax of the jojoba plant. The super fine beads ultra gently exfoliate the skin of your face and leave a fine layer of jojoba oil, leaving your skin feeling velvety soft.
Use Loveli Face Scrub
Use Loveli Face scrub once or twice a week on cleansed skin. First wash your skin with the Loveli Facewash and immediately afterwards apply a small amount of Face scrub on your damp skin. A hazelnut-sized dot should be more than enough.
Massage it in nicely for a minute. Afterwards, wash it off with water and a flannel.
Note: the jojoba beads do not wash off your skin very easily. But even if you might come across a grain later, realise that they are made of the super nice jojoba oil, which actually cares for your skin very well.

The face scrub is made of (in order of quantity):
Water, glycerin, coconut oil, jojoba beads, liquid coconut oil, shea butter, diatomaceous earth, a natural emulsifier, ground almond and olive kernels, natural preservative and xanthan gum.
Additional explanation ingredients:
Water: makes the facescrub nice and spreadable.
Glycerine: plant-based natural. Glycerin moisturises your skin.
Coconut oil: we use both regular coconut oil and liquid coconut oil. Coconut oil makes the scrub wonderfully soft without feeling greasy.
Jojoba pearls: jojoba pearls are made from the wax of the jojoba plant. They exfoliate your skin very gently and make your skin velvety soft.
Shea butter: Shea butter is made from the nuts of the shea nut tree that grows in Central Africa. Shea butter is moisturising and makes the skin supple and elastic.
Diatomaceous earth: also called diatomaceous earth. It consists of the pulverised fossils of plankton, which originated thousands of years ago. It contains many minerals and helps rid the skin of dead skin cells.
Methyl glucose sesquistearate: natural emulsifier that ensures the cream remains an and cream and not a layer of water on top of a layer of butter. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is sometimes used to obtain this ingredient and can be contaminated with harmful substances. Our methyl glucose sesquistearate is PEG-free and thus completely junk-free ;-).
Cetyl alcohol: this type of alcohol is made from fat and its purpose is to give the cream the right thickness. Contrary to what you might expect from alcohol, this cetyl alcohol actually makes your skin soft.
Ground almonds and olive pits: we have added a tiny bit of ground almonds and olive pits to this scrub for just that little bit of extra exfoliation.
Benzyl alcohol: natural preservative
Dehydroacetic Acid: natural preservative
Xanthan gum: thickener in the scrub
