Use

Neem oil should always be diluted (ratio 1:10) with other base oils such as almond or sesame oil before applying to the skin or hair. Other essential oils can also be added to mask the original pungent smell of Neem.

Neem oil for hair
Mix a few drops of neem oil with a quarter-sized amount of your usual shampoo or apply a small amount of diluted neem oil once a day and leave it on for 1 to 2 hours at a time. Leaving it on your hair overnight or using it more frequently may cause irritation; however, make sure to massage the solution thoroughly into your scalp and work it from the roots to the tips.

Neem oil for head lice
