About the Loveli Hair Oil
Did you know that almost all hair oils on the market consist largely of silicones? Sometimes there are even more silicones in them than oil! If you look at the ingredient list, you will probably notice that there is very little recognisable on it. Or scan the ingredient list with the app Beat the Microbead to see how many microplastics end up in your hair and then down the drain and into the environment. Surely we can do better than that?
The Loveli Hair oil is completely junk-free and, of course, contains no silicones. But it is made from some of the finest oils for your hair. And for your scalp. Because amla oil is super nice if you have a sensitive scalp. It's anti-inflammatory and it improves circulation. And that, in turn, is very good for hair growth. And the fatty acids from the Crambe Abyssinica plant protect your hair from the heat of styling, as well as from UV light and seawater. As does raspberry oil, which protects your hair from discolouration caused by UV light. Plus nourishing broccoli oil, coconut oil and vitamin E.
You can use the hair oil before or after shampooing. If you apply the hair oil to your hair before washing, it acts as a deep conditioning for your hair. And it protects your hair ends from washing away your hair's own lipids. Lipids are what protect your hair, but when you wash your hair, these lipids can easily wash away along with your shampoo. Especially if you use an aggressive shampoo. Putting some oil in your hair ends beforehand protects your hair and makes it extra soft. You can spread a whole pipette full of oil on your hair a few minutes before shampooing. The longer the oil is in your hair, the better it works as a treatment. So try leaving it in overnight too. Note: this will make your hair greasy, so only do it when you don't need to look your best.
If you use hair oil as care and protection after washing, you only need a few drops for soft, but not greasy hair. Distribute a maximum of five drops over your hair ends and possibly a few extra drops for your scalp. To do this, apply up to three drops to your fingertips and massage the oil into your scalp. If you have oily hair easily, try using even fewer drops of hair oil.
Good to know
- For children under 5, we do not recommend using the Hair oil because of the added essential oils. Children have thinner (scalp) skin than adults and can react sensitively to essential oils.
- Eco Curly Girl Method proof. For some Curly Girl, the oil fits completely into their routine, for others perhaps a little less. Every hairstyle is different. Find out what works well for your hair.
- The packaging is made of glass.
- The hair oil is completely vegan.
Use Loveli Hair Oil
- You can use the oil as care and protection on dry or damp hair. Use a maximum of 5 drops and apply with your hands. After this, you can possibly style your hair as usual. This is because your hair is also protected against heat from styling appliances.
- You can also use the oil as a treatment before washing your hair. In that case, use 1 full pipette and apply it to the ends of your hair with your hands. Do you have a sensitive scalp? Then you can also massage it onto your scalp. Leave for a while and then wash your hair with your shampoo and conditioner.
- Perfect in combination with the Shampoo Dry & Damaged Hair and the Conditioner Dry & Damaged Hair.

Additional explanation ingredients
- Emblica Officinalis Fruit Extract: or amla oil. This stimulates blood circulation in your scalp, giving your hair the nutrients it needs to become strong and healthy. Besides, it also acts as an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial which can help with dandruff and an itchy scalp.
- Coco-Caprylate/Caprate: This oil is made from coconut and remains liquid at low temperatures. It is a light, non-greasy ingredient that moisturises hair.
- Cocos Nucifera Oil: Coconut oil is extracted from the grated pulp of the coconut. It restores shine to dry and damaged hair. It also protects your hair from the heat of styling appliances.
- Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil Phytosterol Esters: These are the fatty acids from the oil of the Crambe Abyssinica plant. This ingredient protects your hair from heat, UV radiation and seawater.
- Rubus Idaeus Seed Oil: Raspberry seed oil is a true all-rounder. It moisturises your hair and makes your hair smooth. But it also helps well with a dry and itchy scalp. And it is a natural UV filter, so it also protects your hair from UV light.
- Squalane: Squalane is not actually an oil, but the active ingredient from olive oil. Because it has a small molecule, it moisturises your hair deeper than most oils. Because it moisturises so well, your hair is less likely to break. It also gives your hair a super nice shine and softness.
- Brassica Oleracea Italica Seed Oil: Super good for hair care as it can be used as a silicone substitute for shine. It nourishes your hair and makes it smooth. Without making your hair feel stiff. Dry hair is strengthened without weighing it down.
- Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil: Sunflower oil is a good antioxidant. It is light and mild oil that does not leave your hair greasy. It protects your scalp from dandruff.
- Tocopherol: Tocopherol or vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and acts as a preservative. It helps repair damaged hair.
- Citrus Limon Peel Oil: The essential oil pressed from the peel of lemons. It stimulates blood circulation in your scalp, giving your hair the nutrients it needs to become strong and healthy.
- Perfume: The perfumes we use are all made from essential oils and 100% natural.
- Citrus Sinensis Peel Oil Expressed: Orange essential oil has a fresh sparkling scent with uplifting properties.
- Citral: Citral is a component of essential oils (including orange and lemon) in perfume. This should be reported separately on the label, as some people may be allergic to it.
- Limonene: Component of essential oils (including those of orange and lemon) in the fragrance. They should be reported separately on the label, as some people may be allergic to them.
- Linalool: Component of essential oils (including orange and lemon) in the fragrance. They should be reported separately on the label, as some people may be allergic to them.
