Najel Shea Butter
100% Unrefined and pure shea butter, produced by cooperatives of women in Burkina Faso. This pure shea butter has not been processed or chemically treated. The shea butter is very rich in vitamins A, D and F. It acts both nourishing, emollient and protective on skin and hair. Suitable for all skin types, and especially for very dry and damaged skin.
NAJEL Shea Butter is fair trade and has not undergone any transformation.
Naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E and F, Shea Butter restores elasticity and moisture to the driest skin. In winter, it provides effective protection against cold and wind. In summer, it is also a valuable moisturiser in the sun.
Besides its use on the skin, Shea butter is a real treatment for damaged hair and split ends. It nourishes the hair and leaves it shiny.
This complete care treatment can be used anywhere: face, body, hair, hands and feet.
It is packaged in a brown-coloured, satin PP jar of 5.3 oz, sealed with foil and lid.
Usage:
Allow the shea butter to become warm between hands. The body temperature will make the butter a little softer and therefore easier to spread. The shea butter can be used for both the body and face, and even in the ends of the hair.
A complete care treatment, suitable for all skin types, especially the most sensitive skin, and is recommended for daily care of face, body and hair. Melt the butter in the palm of the hand before applying to the face, body or hair.
Shea butter can also be used after waxing or shaving to soothe irritated skin.
On hair, apply butter to ends, leave on for at least 20 minutes, then wash with shampoo and rinse.
On clean, dry feet, use a pumice stone to remove dead and hard skin and then apply Shea butter. It will nourish and protect your feet, making them soft again. For severely damaged feet, rub them with a thick layer of shea butter before bed and wear a light pair of socks. Leave overnight and remove excess product in the morning. Repeat as often as needed for soft, callus-free feet.
Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
About Najel
The AL NAJJAR family has been making authentic Aleppo soap, in keeping with ancestral artisanal know-how , since 1895 . Aleppo Soap was the first hard soap and has been manufactured for centuries. It is the forerunner of Marseille soap. This know-how is passed down from generation to generation in the family soap factory.
Every year, from the end of November to the end of March, production of the world's first hard soap starts again, following an unchanged process. The soaps then dry for at least nine months. During this period, the soaps oxidise on the surface and take on a yellow/beige colour, while the heart of the soap retains the green colour of the oils that make up the soap.
Najel's Aleppo Soap is made from olive oil and laurel oil. Soaped olive oil is a powerful cleanser that nourishes, protects and softens the skin. Laurel oil is known for its disinfecting and regenerative properties. The higher the concentration, the more the soap soothes irritated or problem skin.
