About the Loveli Conditioner
Did you know that almost all hair conditioners contain silicones? Because they can fill up damage in your hair, which makes your hair soft and combable. And it is also a super cheap ingredient, as it is made from petroleum. And therein lies the problem with silicones: it's basically liquid plastic that you smear into your hair. With 0.0 nutrients. So instead of nourishing your dry and damaged hair, you just put a layer of plastic over it. And again at the next wash, because silicones build up and make your hair heavy.
Silicones are not only hard to wash out of your hair, they are also hard to filter out of wastewater. They are microplastics that eventually end up in the plastic soup in the sea.
So no silicones for Loveli! But real nutrients like tomato seed oil, which is very rich in antioxidants, thus repairing damaged hair and making it less static. And inulin from chicory root that is super soothing for your hair. It gives your hair shine and helps make your hair easy to comb through. And broccoli oil that helps against split ends. Broccoli oil gives the same feel and shine as silicones, but unlike silicones, broccoli oil is packed with nourishing fatty acids without making hair heavy or greasy.
Good to know
Shampoo Dry & Damaged Hair
- The bottle is made of bio-plastic from sugarcane. When the bottle is empty, you can dispose of it in the plastic waste. It can then be completely recycled.
- For children under 5, we do not recommend using the shampoo because of the added essential oils. Children have thinner skin than adults and can react sensitively to essential oils.
- Do you have a sensitive scalp? If so, try spraying the Loveli Face mist on your scalp. It helps restore the pH level of your scalp.
Conditioner Dry & Damaged Hair

- Want to know if your current conditioner contains silicones or other microplastics? Then check out Beat the Microbead's app.
- If your current conditioner contains a lot of silicones, it may take a while before all the silicones are washed out of your hair and the nutrients in the Loveli Conditioner can do their job optimally.
- The Conditioner Dry & Damaged Hair contains the scent Sunny Orange, made from the essential oils of orange and lemon with a drop of vanilla. The conditioner is made from 100% natural ingredients and you might be able to smell that.
Use Loveli Conditioner
Shampoo Dry & Damaged Hair
- If you currently use a non-natural shampoo, then switching to a natural shampoo will take some getting used to. This is because non-natural shampoos contain aggressive sulphates to cleanse your hair. It foams wonderfully, but is thus also very harsh on your hair and scalp. Not for nothing do you actually always have to use a conditioner to get your hair combable again.
- Because the Loveli shampoo does not contain SLS or SLES or foam boosters, it will lather a little less than you are used to. Make sure your hair is thoroughly wet before you put shampoo on it. You can also mix the shampoo in your hand with some water or wash your hair twice in a row with the Loveli shampoo. This is because the second time, the shampoo will lather much better and distribute better, so your hair will be thoroughly clean. After a few times, you will notice that you need less shampoo. How long this 'detox' lasts? That depends on your current shampoo and is different for each person.
- After washing out your shampoo, you can use your normal conditioner, mask or leave-in product.
- If your shampoo bottle is almost empty, add a little bit of water and shake. This way, you will also get the last bit of shampoo out of your bottle.
Conditioner Dry & Damaged Hair
- Do you use the conditioner as a leave-in? Then use a hazelnut-sized tuft (and no more than that) and spread it on your towel-dried hair. Do not rinse out. Then dry and style your hair as usual.
- Using the conditioner as a rinse-out? Apply the conditioner to washed damp hair. Leave on for a while and rinse out.
