The Shampoo Dry & Damaged Hair is made from: orange blossom herbal tea, caprylyl/caprylic glucoside (sugar-based detergent), decyl glucoside (coconut and sugar-based detergent), glycerin (vegetable-based), aloe vera juice, cucumber extract, sodium coco-sulphate (coconut-based detergent), wheat protein, coco-glucoside and glyceryl oleate (coconut- and olive-based detergent), betaine (conditioner), vitamin E, xanthan gum (thickener), sweet orange oil, vanilla perfume, lemon oil, kukui oil, preservative and sodium phytate (for stability).

Additional explanation ingredients

- Orange blossom herbal tea: for a calm scalp
- Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice: the aloe vera juice in our shampoo is made from aloe vera leaves. Aloe vera has been known to soothe and repair the skin for centuries.
- Glycerin: this glycerin is plant-based and is hydrating for your hair.
- Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside: this detergent is made from sugar and is very suitable for sensitive skin
- Decyl Glucoside: this detergent is made from sugar and coconut. These raw materials are mild and non-irritating.
- Sodium Coco-Sulfate: this detergent is made from coconut. And yes, it is a sulphate, but is made in a very different way from the sulphates SLS and SLES. As a result, this sulphate is gentle on your hair and skin while helping the shampoo lather better.
- Coco Glucoside, Glyceryl Oleate: this mild detergent is made from coconut and makes hair soft, shiny and more combable.
- Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract: cucumber extract made from fresh, organic cucumbers in vegetable glycerine. Cucumber contains the minerals magnesium and potassium that provide moisture retention. The natural vitamin C in cucumber acts as an antioxidant.
- Wheat protein: wheat protein acts as a conditioner for your hair. It conditions dry hair by creating a thin layer around the hair shaft and does not rinse out with the shampoo. As a result, hair becomes fuller and softer. Wheat protein is less suitable for oily hair.
- Betaine: is also a conditioner for your hair. Not to be confused with Cocamidopropyl betaine. That is a detergent that some people are sensitive to and we do not use it in this shampoo. This betaine (in the shampoo) is made from sugar beet.
- Tocopherol: tocopherol is another word for vitamin E. This is a powerful antioxidant.
- Kukui oil: kukui oil is made from kukui nuts and is great for hair. It helps retain moisture and it helps with sensitive scalp.
- Sunflower oil: this has vitamin E dissolved in it.
- Sweet orange oil: essential oil from the peel of sweet oranges. It gives the shampoo the great scent, but is also caring for your hair and scalp.
- Lemon oil: essential oil from the peel of lemons gives this shampoo the fresh note.
- Perfume: this natural perfume of vanilla provides the super fine fragrance.
- Sodium Anisate, Sodium Levulinate, Potassium Sorbate: together are the preservatives in this shampoo. Super mild. Made from rowan berry, corn, anise and fennel.
- Citral, Limonene and Linalool: these are not ingredients, but natural constituents of orange and lemon essential oils. It is mandatory to mention these on the label.
