This gentle balm-based cleanser removes impurities without damaging the delicate skin barrier and turns into an easily rinsable milk on contact with water. Laminaria helps reduce signs of irritation and redness and strengthens the skin barrier. Organic Nigella oil nourishes, softens and protects.

We call this the sympathiser. Cleansing sensitive skin should be supportive and soothing, rather than stripping or weakening its defences.

That is why we have developed a cleansing balm to boost the skin barrier - not destroy it - packed with botanical ingredients to reduce redness (Laminaria), soothe your skin (Blue Tansy), protect, nourish and give some love (Nigella oil).

Active Ingredients:

BLUE TANSY

This ingredient is great for calming inflammation and reducing redness. Blue Tansy comes from a flower known as Moroccan chamomile. It is an absolute boon when it comes to sensitive skin. Funnily enough, the flower is yellow, but the oil gets its blue colour from chamazulene, which has anti-inflammatory properties that can help with acne and irritated skin conditions.

It is also moisturising, nourishing, soothing and calming. Blue Tansy is often used as a heavenly-smelling aromatherapy oil, associated with anti-anxiety effects. Results: clinical tests on Blue Tansy oil confirm that it contains compounds that are "Anti-inflammatory, Antioxidant, Antibiotic".

Usage:

STEP 1

Massage this cleanser for sensitive skin into your damp face and neck to cleanse without disrupting the skin barrier.

STEP 2

Rinse well and pat dry to reveal instantly soothed and clean skin.

STEP 3

Use in the morning and/or evening to remove make-up and impurities without irritating the skin. Follow with your Adaptology-nourished toner.

Packaging

We use Miron Glass to preserve the quality and potency of the biocorrective ingredients in the Adaptology range.

Miron glass is very dark purple and this means it blocks all visible light, except UVA and infrared, from entering the bottle and affecting the natural product inside.

In nature, sunlight is essential for plants to grow, but it also plays a role in accelerating the molecular decay process once a plant has reached maturity.

The same acceleration decay applies to natural skin care products that are not protected by Miron glass.
