Family owned, we were founded in 2013 by husband and wife power couple Johnny & Pauline Paterson as an alternative natural solution to help soothe their young daughters eczema. It all started with Dr.PAWPAW Original Balm - a soothing multi-tasking clear balm that can be used on lips, skin and hair. The soothing and nourishing properties from our Dr.PAWPAW balm formula that consists of PAWPAW (Papaya Fruit), Castor Oil, Aloe Vera and Olive Oil is now helping to soothe the lips and skin of people in over 35 countries around the globe.

The formula was so good, we introduced Dr.PAWPAW Tinted Balms and now you can get the same great formula that will condition lips and cheeks but with a pigmented tint. We didn’t stop there and since then have created high performance and results led Hand Creams, Hair Care, and more innovative lip products. All are enriched with the power of the PAWPAW and are packed full with sustainably sourced and natural ingredients.

When it comes to packaging we have made some huge changes over the years, all our plastics are PCR (Post Consumer Recycled) and all our cardboard is already 70% recycled. We use water soluble ink on all cardboard packaging, use eco tape on all orders big and small and whenever needed use eco alternatives such as Eco Foil used on Dr.PAWPAW X Teenage Cancer Trust Shimmer Balm.
