Break Free is a line against acne and pimples that addresses the causes of pimples, reduces pore size and combats pollution.

This skin care for acne-prone skin contains natural ingredients such as Alpine Willowherb, Niacinamide, Salicylic Acid and Bakuchiol to boost exfoliation and help protect against pimples and breakouts.

All products in the range are made as remedies for blemished skin.

Pimples can form a cycle where what you do to cleanse the skin and remove excess oil actually stimulates oil production.

That is why we have developed a special oil-free gel wash to remove impurities and excess oil without over-stimulating oil production. It is packed with botanical ingredients that help balance oil production and control pore size (Alpine Willowherb), purify clogged pores and stimulate exfoliation (1% salicylic acid from willow bark) and soothe irritation (organic aloe vera).

Alpine Flower

The rare Alpine flower and adaptogen Alpine Willowherb breaks the cycle that contributes to overly oily skin, reducing overproduction of oil by 55% and reducing the appearance of pores by 18% (in vivo) in 4 weeks.

Willow bark

Willow bark from the North American Black Willow Tree is rich in tannins and salicylic acid-like materials. Salicylic acid improves skin cell turnover, giving an overall improvement in skin smoothness, which also results in a reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.

Willow bark has been clinically proven to possess antimicrobial properties and stimulate cell renewal (24% versus 22% for synthetic salicylic acid). It is also found to be non-irritant compared to synthetic salicylic acid.

Usage:

• Apply a pump of this oil-free cleanser in your palm and massage into damp skin to balance your oil production cycle.
• Rinse well and pat dry to reveal radiant skin.
• Use in the morning and/or evening to remove make-up and impurities without drying out the skin. Afterwards, apply the Break free toner.

Adaptology products contain no:

Parabens, mineral oils, silicones, sulphates, PEGs, animal ingredients, artificial fragrances, artificial colourants, harsh cleansers or other unhealthy toxins.

Packaging

We use Miron Glass to preserve the quality and potency of the biocorrective ingredients in the Adaptology range.

Miron glass is very dark purple and this means it blocks all visible light, except UVA and infrared, from entering the bottle and affecting the natural product inside.

In nature, sunlight is essential for plants to grow, but it also plays a role in accelerating the molecular decay process once a plant has reached maturity.

The same acceleration decay applies to natural skin care products that are not protected by Miron glass.
